Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers to the most common questions about Freight Connect's brokerage services and platform.
Freight Connect is a licensed US freight brokerage operating an online freight management platform. We connect shippers with verified carriers for both Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight shipping across all 50 states.
Unlike a load board, Freight Connect is a licensed freight brokerage that facilitates the entire transaction from start to finish. We handle carrier verification, real-time tracking, payment processing, and provide support throughout the shipping process, rather than simply listing available loads.
Getting started is simple. Create a free account on our platform and complete your profile. The entire setup process takes less than 5 minutes. Once your account is active, shippers can start posting loads and carriers can begin browsing and bidding immediately.
It is completely free to create an account and post loads on Freight Connect. We operate on a transparent commission-based model where a small fee is applied only upon successful completion of a shipment. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or upfront costs.
Freight Connect supports a wide range of freight types including Full Truckload (FTL), Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), dry goods, refrigerated (reefer), flatbed, and specialized freight. Whatever you need to ship, our network of verified carriers can handle it.
Shippers post their load with details such as origin, destination, freight type, and timeline. Verified carriers then submit competitive bids in real-time. Shippers can review each bid, compare pricing and carrier ratings, and choose to accept, reject, or submit a counter-offer.
Yes. Freight Connect provides real-time tracking at every stage of the shipping process. From pickup to delivery, you can monitor your shipment's progress through our online dashboard or mobile app, and receive push notifications for key status updates.
Freight Connect serves all 50 US states with both Full Truckload (FTL) and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipping. Our verified carrier network covers every major lane and market in the continental United States, with equipment options including dry van, flatbed, reefer, and specialized trailers.
Every carrier in the Freight Connect network undergoes a thorough verification process. This includes documentation review, MC and DOT number validation, insurance verification, and comprehensive safety checks. Only carriers who meet our strict standards are approved to bid on loads.
